Arm-Out Wrist Flexion is a standing stretch for your forearms, hands and wrists. Do it on one side, then switch.
Step by step
- 1Stand tall and reach your right arm straight out in front, palm down.
- 2Let your fingers point to the floor, then use your left hand to gently press your right hand in.
What you should feel
Keep your right arm long and soft.
Form tips
- Elbow straight, shoulder down. Feel the top of the right forearm lengthen. Breathe and let the wrist ease a little further.
- Feel the stretch along the top of your right forearm.
- Let your shoulders stay low and easy.
Make it easier
If your wrist is tender, bend your elbow a little and press less.
Coming out of it
Release your hand… and let both arms float down.
Muscles it works
