How to do Wrist Circles
SeatedFlowing movementBeginner
Wrist Circles is a seated flowing stretch for your forearms, hands and wrists.
Step by step
- 1Stand or sit tall with your shoulders relaxed.
- 2Bend your elbows and bring your hands out in front of you, and make loose fists.
What you should feel
Let your forearms stay still.
Form tips
- Forearms still, only the wrists move. Full range, every direction. Smooth circles, no clicking or forcing.
- Feel your wrists loosen with each circle.
- Breathe slowly… keep your shoulders soft.
Make it easier
Keep the circles small if your wrists are tender.
Coming out of it
Let the circles slow… and come to stillness… and shake out your hands.
Muscles it works
Move slowly and stop if anything hurts. This is general guidance, not medical advice; check with a professional if you're injured or recovering.
